Brief History
The Cork Athletic Union Football League was established in 1947 and in the first season had just three competitions.
Since then the League has made significant progress and at one stage had in excess of 150 teams that participated in 28 competitions in Under-17, Youth and Junior grades.
At the moment, we have in excess of 60 teams in membership that compete in 16 competitions (League & Cup) in Junior grade.
A new league was set up 2005 to administer Under-17, Youth and Under-19 grades in the Cork area in conjunction with the MSL.
